hello, Spring

Well, there may be a big snowstorm coming today, but I'm officially done with winter quarter. Oddly, I think the only class I've got an A in is Advanced French 2, even though I felt like I was behind everyone else with speaking skills. I did pretty well on all my written assignments though, including my massive final paper on Sartre. I've got B's in everything else, which is an improvement for M&P. I guess it's okay, but I really want to get my GPA up next quarter. I don't know how I got so off track, but I just lost sight of what's really important, which is that I'm investing a whole lot of time and money to be in college and I need to be putting my heart into my work.

Other than that, John and I both have a cold, which is no fun, buuuut it also means more time being lazy watching movies together :) I also dropped $70 on ink yesterday so I can finally start printing at home and hopefully get more work done.

Sadly I've decided not to take French again next quarter. There was only one section for advanced 3, and it conflicted with my photo class on Tuesdays. My instructor was okay with it at first but I think now I really need to be there for all the critiques. So I'm going to be taking Photo Arts, Materials & Processes, Art History, Drawing, and Cultures in Globalization (an anthropology class for fun). There weren't many open classes at this point and I was interested in taking this special topics Philosophy course on Foucault, but it wasn't going to work out.

Well I have a doctor's appointment I have to run to, so more later...
