This is a preliminary edit of a project we were assigned yesterday in my photojournalism class, and is due tomorrow afternoon. We were supposed to go out and photograph someone and do a profile of them. Dorothy is an art teacher turned pastor, and every week she has an "art and noise" night with the young people in her congregation.

In other news, or I suppose not really news at this rate, I am really really tired. By two this afternoon I could barely stay awake, and then I had to work an evening shift. I took the bus home, then walked the mile or so from the bus stop, made falafels (and discovered my pita bread was bad), and worked on some photos. Thankfully tomorrow morning I don't have to be in class at 9, but I have to wake up at a reasonable hour and finish editing and then print these images.
