So, is it just me, or is Orphan exactly like The Good Son? Only, instead of the kid just being a total sociopath, it's actually a 33-year-old woman from Estonia. The similarities were astounding, but this movie was total weaksauce.
Though, I guess I can't really talk, seeing as I was covering my eyes and ears through the last 45 minutes while my friend laughed at all the slashing and stabbing on screen.
I got a new battery for my laptop, but it still won't charge. Just from a few quick google searches, it looks like hundreds of other people have had this problem, and Dell won't help you out a bit since the warranty is expired (which happened about 2 weeks ago, mind you). In fact, they charge $50 just to speak to a customer service rep.
So I'm pissed at Dell, and have sworn vengeance against them in an angry e-mail, that I will spread the word about their horrible customer service at my techie school. I just hope that whatever the problem is, it doesn't cost too much to fix, cause I have enough expenses to worry about right now.
Also, I found out I can't start taking Arabic this quarter because it conflicts with my photo class. Mreh. I was really looking forward to that, too.

I know when I first saw the commercial for Orphan these were my exact thoughts and you could actually watch the good son without worrying about covering your eyes. Plus this is a horrible way to encourage people to adopt!
I know!! When I saw the previews, I thought about you and when we watched The Good Son, and I was surprised that my friends had seen that movie too. And yeah, now people are just gonna be scared to adopt. Gotta love our fear-mongering media.
I downloaded orphan on divxstage.net....HORRIBLE. I was laughing at her horrible accent and when the mother calls the doctor in Estonia and he says she's a 33 year old woman and the next shot is of here with whorish makeup I almost died laughing. Very disapointing. I miss you!
